Upon arriving at the hotel, I found the rooms to be a bit underwhelming. Although the furnishings were dated and the HVAC system had a musty smell when turned on, the view from the room was absolutely spectacular. The included continental breakfast was a fantastic touch, especially for someone like me who is gluten-sensitive and vegan. However, the room did maintain a musty smell throughout my stay.

The service was a mixed bag. While the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the property's history, there were instances where the room was still being cleaned during my stay. The breakfast wait staff, on the other hand, were very nice and provided excellent service.

On the bright side, the separate location from the main house offered some privacy, but overall, there were significant drawbacks.
